Our cast iron rams head is powerfully atmospheric, large and primal. It is full of character, notice the spiral detail on those big rusty horns.

A figure of strength, resilience and achievement this mighty looking ram’s head could be mounted on the walls and doors of so many dens, huts and workshops. Being made from cast iron it is reassuringly strong and resilient, guaranteed to last season to season.

Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
