Postal Fronts

A postal front is the cast iron face of a post box — the door, slot and surround — designed to be built into a wall, brick pillar or gatepost for a permanent, flush-fitted finish. Ours faithfully reproduce the classic royal cyphers, ER and GR, in traditional post-box red, black and French grey, along with Irish and plain designs. Each is cast in solid iron with a hinged, lockable door and a proper letter slot, giving you the look of a genuine built-in letter box with the security to match. A handsome, hard-wearing choice for anyone building a post box into a wall rather than mounting one on the surface.
