Our large cast iron deer head is strong and beautifully made. Designed to be earthy and rustic it has no need of polish or paint or any sort of special treatment, it is completely natural.

This gives it a real sense of timelessness and tradition. And whilst this lovely deer head could be perfectly at home in any gamekeepers lodge it could also bring real atmosphere and character to areas all round your home and garden.

A rear fixing point means you can mount it on the wall of your back garden or on the doors of your workshop, even inside an old woodshed or outbuilding. A distinctive eye catching piece, guaranteed to stand the test of time.

Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
