Made from heavy duty cast iron this magnificent cockerel is a solid and impressive looking character. With all the rustic appeal of a picturesque old farmyard there is an earthy charm he can bring within your outdoor decor.

How very proudly he is shown strutting with his wonderful plumage and pronounced comb.  Put him in your garden, down by the log shed or out on the vegetable patch. Wherever placed to roost, he is sure to look perfectly natural and at home.

Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
