A cast aluminium heron statue makes a gloriously striking garden feature. Feathers and legs are all beautifully detailed and textured.

This is greatly enhanced by the carefully applied verdigris colouring which gives a timeless and natural feel to these ancient fish loving predators. It also blends in perfectly with all sorts of foliage or woody stems.

Ideal therefore not only amongst the reeds and rushes as a pond decoy but also as an elemental part of your outside scenery. Available in two sizes.

Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
