Ancient Greek Garden Statue

This gorgeous looking ancient Greek garden statue has its origins in ancient Greek and Roman Art.

Particularly popular in Renaissance times, Putti came to be closely associated with Cupid and Eros. As such our little statue is a classic figure of idealised love and romance.

He is ready to bestow his charm and classic beauty on special areas all around your garden. By a starlit bench, out on the terrace or patio, next to a water feature or even some exotic palms. There are all sorts of romantic settings he could go. And being made from good strong cast iron means wherever he is put he will go on inspiring love and tenderness for many years to come.

Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
