We present our enchanting fictional character Mr Rabbit, crafted from solid cast iron, unlike a variety of lighter cold cast iron variants elsewhere. Each statue includes a natural rust finish, which left untreated will develop its own unique patina.

The classic Mr Rabbit, inspired by Beatrix Potter has been made from solid cast iron. His features and tailored clothing are all carefully detailed.  Our Rabbit Statue is heartwarming, full of character and specially designed for the garden.

Mr Rabbit Statue Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
