Victorian-Inspired Sandstone Boot Scraper
Keep the mud on the doorstep with this boot scraper, inspired by an old Victorian design. The base is a single solid block of carved sandstone, so there are no joins to work loose, and the grain and tone of the stone vary slightly from one scraper to the next.
The scraping bar is quality cast iron with a rust finish, held in the stone by mortice and tenon joints so it stays firmly in place when you put your weight behind a muddy welly.
At 11kg it's a heavy, stable piece, made for the back door, porch or boot room entrance and for tackling the muddiest boots and wellies.
