Cockerel Outdoor Weathervane
The cockerel is the classic weathervane, and ours is a real eye-catcher — hand-painted in a colourful plumage of orange, red and yellow, with lovely detailing picked out across the grey and black feathers. It brings a bright splash of traditional country charm to a roof, wall or fence post.
Crafted from cast aluminium and mounted on a stainless-steel pivot, it won't rust or corrode, so it's built to shrug off the weather for years. It turns freely to show the wind direction whichever way the breeze is blowing, and the L-shaped bracket makes it easy to fix vertically or horizontally on a fence post or low roof.
A vibrant, hard-wearing weathervane with timeless appeal — a lovely feature for the garden and a great gift for anyone who loves a bit of country character.
Assembly
Your weathervane comes in two parts and is straightforward to put together:
Secure the bracket using the four pre-drilled holes on either the vertical or horizontal side. Fix the steel pole to the bracket and tighten the wingnut to secure. Slot the four cardinal points in at the top of the pole — 'E' and 'W' first, then 'N' and 'S'. Finally, attach the stainless-steel pivot just below the arrow, with the pointed edge facing down, and align it to the top of the steel pole so it slides down into position.
