Our violin lamp is really quite special. Special not only for the warmth and glow of the light it generates but also because it is actually made from a real and genuine musical instrument.

It is fully strung and capable of being properly tuned. It can be plucked and bowed and played to whatever jig or melody you choose.

As you may expect, from a traditional violin, ours is crafted in polished wood and has that classically beautiful Italian curved shape. When the lamp is switched on it really highlights these gorgeous features and workings.

In order to prop up our violin we use a discreet steel pole with an attractive granite base.

The lampshade over the small electrical fittings, has been carefully selected to be as elegant and compatible as possible.

In this way our violin lamp can be safely and confidently displayed. It makes the most wonderful table top feature. A real live musical lamp. Perfect for light and convivial evenings.
