Mr Pig Statue Cast Iron Garden Statues

We present our three enchanting fictional character Mr Pig statue. Crafted from solid cast iron, unlike a variety of lighter cold cast iron variants elsewhere. Each statue includes a natural rust finish, which left untreated will develop its own unique patina.

Mr Pig looks quite a character. A new addition to the animal fiction collection, he is heavy duty with much attention paid to his lovely piggy features. Including the top hat and waist coat. It’s all part of his charm which blends in beautifully with an earthy, leafy garden environment.

Mr Pig statue Maintenance

Our cast iron and aluminium garden statue range needs very little maintenance. Once the verdigris or rust finish have been applied, over time each piece will develop its own unique patina based on the conditions the surface of the metal is exposed to.

If left in a damp wet environment such as a pond, moss will likely grow. In dry weather the surface texture and colour will become more weathered.

Whilst the rusty finish tends to be more desired, you can paint over the rust if you’re looking for a smoother unformed finish. simply apply a primer to the surface before painting.
