Outdoor Horse Weathervane
A lovely choice for horse lovers and country homes, this horse weathervane is captured mid-stride, striding out into the oncoming wind. It's hand-painted in a rich antique brown, with a full mane and a tail held high, and makes a characterful feature on a roof, stable block or fence post.
Cast from resilient aluminium and mounted on a stainless-steel pivot, it won't rust or corrode, so it's built to weather the outdoors for years. The black and gold vane turns freely to show the wind direction, and the L-shaped bracket lets you fix it vertically or horizontally to suit your roof or post.
An elegant, hard-wearing weathervane with timeless country appeal — and a thoughtful gift for a horse owner, rider or anyone with a stable or paddock.
Assembly
Your weathervane comes in two parts and is straightforward to put together:
Secure the bracket using the four pre-drilled holes on either the vertical or horizontal side. Fix the steel pole to the bracket and tighten the wingnut to secure. Slot the four cardinal points in at the top of the pole — 'E' and 'W' first, then 'N' and 'S'. Finally, attach the stainless-steel pivot just below the arrow, with the pointed edge facing down, and align it to the top of the steel pole so it slides down into position.
