Hand-Finished Cast Aluminium Tractor Weathervane
Add a real slice of farmyard charm to your roof, wall, or fence post with this tractor weathervane. It features a beautifully hand-painted vintage red tractor with bright silver wheels, and it's every bit as practical as it is characterful — one glance tells you which way the wind is blowing.
Made from durable cast aluminium so it won't rust, it turns smoothly through a full 360 degrees on a stainless-steel pivot and brass bearing. The L-shaped bracket lets you fix it either vertically or horizontally, making it easy to mount on a fence post, wall or low roof.
A charming, hard-wearing weathervane that's ideal for farmers, smallholders and anyone with a love of the countryside — and a great gift for a tractor enthusiast.
Assembly
Your weathervane comes in two parts and is straightforward to put together:
Secure the bracket using the four pre-drilled holes, on either the vertical or horizontal side. Fix the steel pole to the bracket and tighten the wingnut to secure. Slot the four cardinal points in at the top of the pole — 'E' and 'W' first, then 'N' and 'S'. Finally, attach the stainless-steel pivot just below the arrow, with the pointed edge facing down, and align it to the top of the steel pole so it slides down into position.
