Cast Iron Garden Water Hand Pump
A traditional water hand pump, faithfully reproduced from an original vintage design in strong cast iron and finished in matte black. It's fully operational and simple to use, so it works as a garden feature rather than only looking like one.
Connect it to a suitable pipe, or keep it as a purely decorative piece. With the inner valve mechanism removed, it can also run as a water feature with a continuous flow of water.
To connect a hosepipe, it needs a 1¼ inch British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread (41.91mm / 1.65 inch). When pumping from anything deeper than 60cm, we recommend a foot valve (a non-return valve) at the bottom of the delivery pipe, as is usual with well pumps.
At 52cm tall and 8kg, it's the smaller of our two garden hand pumps.
